Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Pacific Regional Environment Programme

A website of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), a regional organisation established by the governments and administrations of the Pacific region to look after its environment.  It provides information about SPREP and its work, publications, program resources and weblinks.

SPREP serves as the conduit for environmental action at the regional level, and is also a key mechanism for Pacific island countries to work towards international commitments, such as the World Summit on Sustainable Development, Millennium Development Goals, the Barbados Plan of Action and Agenda 21.
