Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Australia-China climate change cooperation: progress & achievements 2003-2005 (pdf 750kb)

This document reviews the Australia-China Climate Change Cooperation program from the period of 2003-2005.  It highlights the progress and achievements of the program, particularly in the areas of low emission technology and scientific understanding with regard to climate change mitigation and adaptation.

The program facilitated scientific and technological exchange between Australia and China, aimed at strengthening mutual efforts towards addressing climate change. The program also contributed to the effective implementation of the respective National Climate Change Strategies of each country.
