The Montreal Protocol
This site provides a range of resources on the history, development and current status of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer.The Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer was agreed in September 1987 and came into force in January 1989. The protocol aimed to mobilise international cooperation towards the elimination of substances harmful to the ozone layer.
