Guidelines for Behaviour Change Interventions to Prevent HIV (pdf 823 kb)
This manual shares lessons learnt from five years of working with sex workers on HIV/ AIDS prevention in Bangladesh and builds on experiences already gained in the Sonagachhi Project in Calcutta, India.This publication also outlines HIV/AIDS prevention interventions, general concepts related to the HIV virus and how it acts, while highlighting the importance of recognising the human rights of vulnerable populations. It can also be used as a training manual for grassroots level workers.
