Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Ideas for working with girls

A project of the International Women's Tribune Centre (IWTC), Women, Ink., has compiled a resource collection of games, training manuals, workshop guides and other learning resources for teachers, trainers and development workers who are working for and with girls.  

The collection of papers was complied for the 51st Commission on the Status of Women, and includes some 31 resources on various subjects including
- Empowerment
- HIV/AIDS
- Sexuality and reproductive health
- Violence against women
- Racism
- Self-esteem and leadership development

The resources are available to download from the website or by request on CD.
