UN East Timor independent electoral certification team reports
This is a collection of reports leading up to the Timor-Leste presedential and parliamentary elections in 2007. As part of the assistance being provided by the United Nations for elections in Timor-Leste in 2007, the UN Secretary-General appointed a team of high-level electoral experts to verify the satisfactory conduct of each phase of the electoral process.The members of the team included, Lucinda Almeida of Portugal, Reginald Austin of Zimbabwe and Michael Maley of Australia. They worked independently of the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste, and submitted their findings and recommendations to the Secretary-General and the Timor-Leste authorities.
These reports are available in English, Tetun and Portuguese.
