Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Natural resource management facilitators network (pdf 200kb)

This fact sheet outlines the role of the natural resource management facilitator's network.  With over 700 facilitators located throughout Australia's 56 NRM regions and in all capital cities, this extensive network helps link all governments, regional bodies, Indigenous communities, non-government organisations, industry, volunteers and the community.

The network, which is jointly funded by the Australian Government through the Natural Heritage Trust, State/ Territory Governments and host organisations/regional bodies, consists of:

- Australian Government Facilitators
- Regional Facilitators
- Indigenous Land Management Facilitators
- Local Government Facilitators
- Local-level Facilitators/Co-ordinators.

In addition, there are State and local/regional level Community Landcare Co-ordinators funded under the Australian Government's National Landcare Program.
