Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

PNG agricultural cluster evaluation (pdf 1.15Mb)

An evaluation of four AusAID projects in Papua New Guinea, asessing the sustainability, potential development impact and effectiveness of each.

This report presents the findings of a post-evaluation mission during August/September 1997. The four completed AusAID projects in Papua New Guinea selected for a cluster ex-post evaluation were:

- Cocoa Quality Improvement Project, Keravat, East New Britain province

- Coffee Research Institute Project, Aiyura, Eastern Highlands province

- PNG Resource Information System, Port Moresby and Lae, Morobe province

- Forestry Rapid Resource Appraisal, Port Moresby.
