Genetically modified organisms, consumers, food safety & the environment
This paper explores claims made in the ongoing genetically modified organisms (GMO) debate from an ethical perspective.The main objective is to highlight the role of ethical considerations in food and agriculture, both in the light of the discussion on GMOs and in relation to food safety and the environment. The paper also highlights certain actions for consideration by the international community and the public.
