Based on an expert consultation in Rome, January 2005, this Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) report documents findings on how countries can establish effective programs for post-release monitoring of genetically modified (GM) crops.It documents international experiences of monitoring GM crops and provides recommendations to scientists, policy makers and donors on best practice measures for designing good monitoring programs.
