Expanding citizen participation

Gender and political participation

As part of the Gender and political participation project, funded by the International Institute on Democracy and Electoral Assistance, resources related to women's participation and representation in political life is available online.

The collection includes case studies from Indonesia, Burkina Faso and Nigeria, links to a global database of quotas for women, handbooks, news and analysis.
