Health Data, Research & Professional Development
Access to accurate, reliable and high quality data and research is crucial for the development of effective national policies, strategies and actions that tackle pressing health issues in developing countries. In recent years, high quality best practice examples and integrated, widely-utilised data and analysis have also strengthened transparent and broad-based monitoring and evaluation systems.Analysis of successful public health interventions, how to stimulate rigorous evaluation of health and other social development programs, the tracking of health expenditures, and the creation of market incentives are new areas being explored, while policy research to improve the outcomes of donor decision making in health is another priority in the effort to achieve sustainable global health development. Future research will examine innovations in service delivery and strategies to improve the supply of health products to consumers.
Life long learning that increases the chance of health promotion and improves professional skills and competency is essential for health professionals.
