Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Injury prevention and control

Over 7,000 people die from injuries each year in Australia, while thousands of others suffer physical, cognitive and psychological side effects of injury that seriously affect their quality of life. Injury is largely preventable and this site aims to help people avoid injury by providing some helpful tips in those areas where injuries most commonly occur.

This site also provides trauma care and rehabilitation advice and links to Australian online first aid manuals.
