Reconciliation after violent conflict
An online handbook that examines specific democratisation challenges after violent conflict, presenting a range of tools to design and implement reconciliation processes. The handbook offers:
- explanations of the basic concepts and general principles of reconciliation
- analysis of the people involved at the core of a reconciliation process: the victims and the offenders
- descriptions of the key reconciliation processes: healing, justice, truth-telling and reparation
