Community landmine/UXO awareness education in Cambodia

The broad aim of this guide is to improve the quality of mine/UXO awareness education by helping Mine Awareness Program (MAP) personnel to understand participatory data gathering and analysis techniques and encourage their use in the design and appraisal of mine/UXO awareness education.
More specifically, the guide is intended to:

- Examine how a process of participatory analysis can lead to better understanding, informed responses and practical community action

- Demonstrate how local people can be trained to participate in the assessment, planning, monitoring and evaluation of mine awareness initiatives

- Assist in understanding why behaviour change occurs or does not occur
