Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

UNICEF Facts for Life series: hygiene

Facts for Life has become one of the world's most popular books, with more than 15 million copies in use in 215 languages in 200 countries.The book is co-published by UNICEF, WHO, UNESCO, UNFPA, UNDP, UNAIDS, WFP and the World Bank.

This revised edition of Facts for Life has updated information on, amongst others: a guide for communicating Facts for Life, timing births, safe motherhood, child development and early learning, breastfeeding, nutrition and growth, immunization, diarrhoea, coughs, colds and more serious illnesses, hygiene, malaria, HIV/AIDS, injury prevention, disasters and emergencies.
