Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander primary health care program
A review of the Australian Government's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Program comprising a set of seven reports.In 2003, a series of papers were commissioned to provide information, analysis and advice to Government as a part of a Review of the Australian Government's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Program.
The Review examined issues relating to funding for comprehensive primary health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the impact of activity in this area. The commissioned material complemented information obtained from previous reviews and evaluations as well as that obtained from program data.
Improvements to health status require a response from many sectors, not only the health sector.
