Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Implementing the global strategy for infant & young child feeding (pdf 390kb)

Report of a technical meeting to facilitate the implementation of the Global Strategy for Infant and Young Child Feeding, and assist governments in translating global recommendations into country-specific actions. WHO convened a technical meeting from 3 to 5 February 2003 in Geneva.

Contents include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for infant and young child feeding
- Strengthening the capacity of health services to support appropriate infant and young child feeding
- Strengthening community-based support for infant and young child feeding
- New developments and work in progress
- A planning framework to facilitate implementation of the Global Strategy for Infant and Young Child Feeding
