Report of a technical meeting to facilitate the implementation of the Global Strategy for Infant and Young Child Feeding, and assist governments in translating global recommendations into country-specific actions. WHO convened a technical meeting from 3 to 5 February 2003 in Geneva.Contents include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for infant and young child feeding
- Strengthening the capacity of health services to support appropriate infant and young child feeding
- Strengthening community-based support for infant and young child feeding
- New developments and work in progress
- A planning framework to facilitate implementation of the Global Strategy for Infant and Young Child Feeding
