Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

WHO World Report on Violence and Health 2002

The world report on violence and health was the first comprehensive review of the problem of violence on a global scale, and its impact on health.

It looks at several types of violence including:

- Youth violence
- Child abuse
- Domestic violence
- Sexual violence
- Self-directed violence
- Collective violence the forms and contexts of violence

The report also examines the impacts of violence as a global health problem, and provides recommendations for action.

The report can be downloaded by chapter or as a single document.
