This comprehensive global study commissioned by the UN Secretary General examines the extent, forms and impact of violence against children across the world.Issues examined in the study include:
- An end to violence against children
- Violence against children and international human standards
- Violence against children in the home and family
- Violence against children in schools and educational settings
- Violence against children in care and justice institutions
- Violence against children in places of work
- Violence against children in the community
The report asserts that no violence against children is justifiable and all forms of violence are preventable, and provides a range of recommendations on how the violence against children can be addressed.
