World Report on Violence against Children

This comprehensive global study commissioned by the UN Secretary General examines the extent, forms and impact of violence against children across the world.

Issues examined in the study include:

- An end to violence against children
- Violence against children and international human standards
- Violence against children in the home and family
- Violence against children in schools and educational settings
- Violence against children in care and justice institutions
- Violence against children in places of work
- Violence against children in the community

The report asserts that no violence against children is justifiable and all forms of violence are preventable, and provides a range of recommendations on how the violence against children can be addressed.

This report is downloadable in chapters from this website.
