Determinants of public health
WHO Commission on Social Determinants of Health
The World Health Organisation's (WHO) Commission on Social Determinants of Health (CSDH) supports countries and global health partners to address the social factors leading to ill health and inequities.It draws the attention to the social determinants known to have the biggest impact on health, including unemployment, unsafe workplaces, urban slums, globalisation and lack of access to health systems.
This site provides a range of information on the CSDH's work, including an extensive range of publications, news and events.
