Assessing donor anti-corruption initiatives in support of private sector development: a mapping study (pdf 290kb)

This study provides a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the efforts and impacts of donor agencies to tackle corruption in the private sector.

Drawing on a database of 429 projects developed by donor, civil society and private sector organisations, the analysis describes:
- Which donor agencies are involved
- What types of support they provided
- The timescales involved
- The types of partnerships involved
- Knowledge management practices and capacities

The report also looks at the impacts of these interventions and tries to identify good practices and draw out lessons for future similar efforts.
