Community Led Assessment and Planning Processes (CLAPP) Manual & Tool

The Community Led Assessment and Planning Processes (CLAPP) Manual & Tool, provided in Bahasa Indonesia and English, focusses on improving skills through mentoring and capacity building efforts in participatory program implementation and monitoring and evaluation.

It is supported by the AusAID funded project ACCESS (Australian Community Development and Civil Society Strengthening Scheme). The outcome of the CLAPP will include:
- Improved ability of the community (particularly the poor and women) to assess and plan
- Acknowledgement by the broader community and village government of the ability of the poor and women to assess and plan effectively
- Improved capacity of NGOs/CSOs to facilitate participatory pro-poor and pro-women planning processes
- A concrete plan of action for poverty alleviation

ACCESS has developed a CLAPP Manual based on the experience and lessons learnt during the first round (2003) of CLAPP implementation in each of the target districts:
- CLAPP Flowchart (Bahasa Indonesia)
- CLAPP in Community (English)
- CLAPP Manual-Concept (Bahasa Indonesia)
- CLAPP Manual-Tools (Bahasa Indonesia)

These tools are downloadable from this website
