Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Valuing Pacific fish: a framework for fisheries-related development assistance in the Pacific (pdf 1mb)

This publication provides the framework for Australian development assistance to fisheries in the Pacific for 2007-2012.

It sets out the guiding objectives and priorities for the next five years and describes the approaches for implementing development assistance in this area.

The publication also provides an overview of fisheries management in the Pacific, as well as current regional fisheries development assistance efforts.
