Volunteering Opportunities

World Youth International

World Youth International (WYI) offers two programs: the Overseas Action Program and the Overseas Service Program. All volunteers must be a minimum age of 18 and there is no maximum age limit.

The Overseas Action Program is a five week program which focuses on community development in both a team based environment and through individual placements. A team is responsible for the construction of a development project in the areas of Primary Health Care, Income Generation and Education & Training. An individual has the opportunity to work within a community in an area they are passionate about. Participants may choose to work in Kenya & Uganda, Peru, Nepal, Laos or Cambodia.

The Overseas Service Project (OSP) is for people aged 18 years and above and is an individual program. There are three main areas of volunteering opportunities which are:
- Professional placements
- Teaching placements
- General placements
