Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Green PC

Green PC is one of the major contributions Infoxchange Australia makes to breaking down the 'digital divide', the electronic gulf that separates the information rich from the information poor.

It refurbishes used computers received from government and business organisations and makes them available to those who might not usually be able to afford a new computer system. The only qualification for an individual or family to have access to a Green PC computer is that they be holders of current Health Care Cards or are able to verify their low income status in some other way.
