The Global Information & Communication Technologies (GICT) Department serves as the World Bank Group's core department for investment, policy, and programs related to information and communication technologies worldwide.Bringing together International Finance Corporation's experience in private sector investment transactions and the World Bank's expertise in policy and regulatory matters, the Global Information and Communication Technologies Department promotes access to information and communication technologies in developing countries.
