ICT in teacher education: case studies from the Asia-Pacific region (pdf 2.4mb)
This study examines the role of information and communication technologies (ICT) in teacher education programs in the Asia-Pacific region.It contains a collection of case studies and identifies lessons on the most effective ways to use ICTs to support teacher education. Case studies are drawn from several countries including:
- Bhutan
- Malaysia
- Philippines
- China
- Nepal
- Bangladesh
- Mongolia
- Thailand
- Samoa
The findings of the study will be useful in assisting education planners, teachers, educators and researchers, particularly those in the Asia-Pacific region.
