Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

UNEP Year Book 2008

The UNEP Year Book 2008 highlights the increasing global complexity and interconnections of climate change, ecosystem integrity, human well-being, and economic development.

The publication is divided into three sections:
- The global overview - surveys the significant environmental events that gained prominence during 2007
- The feature focus - documents some of the creative efforts already working in markets and financial circles to fight the growing climate crisis
- The emerging challenges - examines new and recent scientific findings on the role of arctic climate feedbacks in climate change

The book is available for download as a single document or as individual chapters.
