Pacific Economic Survey 2008 (pdf 1.9mb)

The Pacific Economic Survey 2008 is the first of a series of annual reports on the economic performance of Pacific island countries and Timor-Leste.

It was prepared by AusAID, with regional consultation, to promote discussion and debate on the regional economic outlook and to focus on ways to reduce poverty and promote development.

The theme for this Survey is 'Connecting the Region' and it includes chapters on reform in telecommunications, aviation and shipping to improve regional connectivity.
