Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Framework for the assessment of ICT pilot projects (pdf 1.1mb)

This paper not only looks into the need for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) at the project level, but also the need for applied research.

This paper draws on the need for a common approach to be established as a means to ensure the effectiveness of pilot ICT projects and their contribution to development. With the application of various methods as an applied research approach, both a mix of quantitative and qualitative data can be gathered and contributed to ICT development initiatives.
