Radio scripts aimed at small-scale farmers

Features radio scripts aimed at local small-scale farmers and their families in rural communities, and assists broadcasters to build the skills to develop content that responds to local needs.

Each quarterly script package focuses on a different theme, ie nutrition and health, Indigenous knowledge, women in agriculture, livestock, and includes a variety of formats - interview, drama, spots. Scripts also include tips for broadcasters on presenting the information and adapting it for their own listening audience.

The Developing Countries Farm Radio Network is a Canadian-based, not-for-profit organisation working in partnership with approximately 500 radio broadcasters in over 70 countries to fight poverty and food insecurity.
