Tools for prevention - Participatory monitoring: Guidelines for practitioners in the fight against human trafficking (pdf 1.5mb)

These guidelines provide guidance on how to monitor the progress of human trafficking prevention projects toward its objectives, and better understand the dynamics of trafficking in order to make projects more effective.

The guidelines consist of three parts:

- Part 1 describes theoretical frameworks for participatory monitoring
- Part 2 provides a toolkit of 8 different tools for data collection and analysis
- Part 3 provides resources for the design and delivery of training in participatory monitoring

The guidelines were developed with a specific focus on human trafficking in the Mekong region but can be applied to other areas.
