Impact of armed conflict on women and girls (pdf 600kb)

This document contains a collection of reports and papers examining the various impacts of armed conflict on women and girls.

It includes reports from a number of UN working groups set up to examine the impacts of armed conflict on women, covering reproductive health, trafficking, domestic and sexual violence, peacekeeping operations and the role of NGOs.

It also provides a number of papers with case studies on the experiences of women in conflict situations.

The report aims to identify lessons and recommendations that can be fed back into policy making and programming work on gender and conflict.
