Women and conflict: an introductory guide for programming (pdf 2.1mb)
This introductory guide describes the ways in which conflict can increase gender inequities and suggests programming approaches that address these issues while building on the strengths of women.It highlights the key issues on women and conflict, and summarises the key lessons learned from international experience in this area.
It also describes the options available to practitioners and organisations designing and planning activities involving gender and conflict, and provides references to additional resources to help with these tasks.
