This paper examines the strategies used to increase women's representation in parliament in Vanuatu, and the challenges experienced with such approaches.Strategies that are explored in the paper include:
- Lobbying political parties to nominate women candidates
- Voter education
- Training workshops
- Research
It also looks at case studies of women who succeeded in being elected to parliament, how they did it and the challenges they faced.
