This paper was prepared to respond to developments in the modification and creation of Ombudsman legislation in various parts of Australasia, and to consider a contemporary view of what ombudsman legislation needs.The principal source for this paper was the Annotated Model Ombudsman Statute paper by Walter Gellhorn.
