The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

International strategy for disaster reduction: Asia & Pacific

This organisation includes awareness-raising activities in disaster risk reduction, including the promotion of the World Disaster Reduction Campaign and the implementation of the Hyogo Framework for Action.

It also promotes the establishment of national platforms for disaster risk reduction, enhances networking and partnership-building to contribute to an effective culture of safety and protection of all communities in the Asia and Pacific Islands region.

The site also includes publications on publicises conferences on disaster risk reduction.
