Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Global disaster alert and coordination system

The Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System provides near real-time alerts about natural disasters around the world and tools to facilitate response coordination, including news and maps.

The system is designed to support disaster managers, search and rescue workers, first responders, humanitarian organisations, donors, relief workers and the broader international community.

It aims to help these groups respond to major sudden-onset disasters and facilitate the coordination of international response during the relief phase of the disaster.
