Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Maldives Disaster Management Centre

A website for the Maldives National disaster management centre to facilitate and coordinate emergency relief work following the December 26, 2004 tsunami.

This was a government iniative, which as part of its program, set up the National Economic Recovery and Reconstruction Programme include planning and coordination of the redevelopment programme to revitalize the islands destroyed by the tsunami; and formulation of programmes and projects to revive the economy of the Maldives.

The Centre includes the following divisions:
- The National Disaster Relief Coordination Unit (NDRCU)
- The National Economic Recovery and Reconstruction Programme
- The Transport and Logistics Unit (TLU)
