Towards knowledge society: a handbook of selected initiatives in South Asia (pdf 2.5mb)

This handbook contains ICT4D initiatives of selected South Asian organisations covering key aspects of their activities including impact, innovation, partnerships, management as well as the challenges they face in implementing their ideas.

The information gathering approach and preparation of the cases are designed so that readers and users can easily understand the ideas behind the models and can make comparisons across models.

It is hoped that the information and learnings in this handbook will help others learn and generate the interest to replicate similar models and initiatives. It is also hoped that the information will help organisations connect and collaborate to expand the benefits of ICT to more people, especially the disadvantaged.
