The long-term strategic framework of the Asian Development Bank (2008-2020) (pdf 200kb)

This paper describes the ADB's Long Term Strategic Framework (LTSF) for its programming and delivery of development assistance to its member countries for the period 2008-2020.

It reflects recent development trends in the Asia Pacific region, and aims to improve the ADB's operational effectiveness through better alignment with other donors.

The paper also provides a foundation for enhancing the ADB's development impact through more focused support and broader partnerships to address poverty alleviation in the Asia Pacific region.
