Practice notes: issues in designing effective microfinance impact assessment systems
This set of practice notes give useful information and advice for managing your social performance, presented in a clear, concise format. These Notes are intended primarily for microfinance practitioners, but may also be useful to donors and other external assessors.
They provide a useful introduction to the shift in impact assessments away from donor-driven events, and how they can be designed to be processes which are useful for Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) and their stakeholders. It also gives an overview to the challenge of creating context-specific impact assessment systems.
The documents are available in English and Spanish.
