Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

NZAID Pacific Strategy 2007 - 2015 (pdf 920kb)

The Pacific Strategy draws together policy with principles of engagement, resources and aid management, necessary to realise New Zealand's aid and development program goals for the region.

The goal of the Pacific Strategy is to reduce poverty and hardship in the region.  In working towards this goal NZAID will concentrate its development cooperation efforts on the following focus areas:
- Strengthening governance
- Achieving broader-based growth and improved livelihoods
- Improving education and health
- Reducing vulnerability
