Cheap and effective ways to change adolescent's sexual behaviour (pdf 270kb)
This article reports the results of a recent randomised evaluation that assessed the relative effectiveness of four school-based approaches to HIV/AIDS education in Kenya.It highlights programs with are both effective and cheap. An example give shows that informing students about the high HIV prevalence rate among older men led to a dramatic change in behaviour - a 65 percent drop in the number of primary school girls having babies with older men.
