Ecological sanitation ( pdf 1.2mb)
This book looks at an approach to sanitation that saves water, does not pollute and returns the nutrients in human excreta to the soil known as 'ecological sanitation'.It presents the findings of over ten years of research and development in ecological sanitation supported by Sida.
This approach can be used in developed as well as developing countries and aims also at stimulating different actors to include ecological sanitation systems in all their activities in the water and sanitation sector.
