Evaluating HIV/AIDS interventions in PNG: a way forward (pdf 60kb)

AusAID's Office of Development Effectiveness (ODE) is working with AusAID's PNG program and a variety of PNG stakeholders, including the National AIDS Council, to design and implement a select program of rigorous impact evaluation on HIV/AIDS interventions.

PNG still has the opportunity to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS in its tracks through the effective targeting and scaling up of HIV prevention efforts. Evidence about what is working and why, is required to guide that targeting and scaling up.
