Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Scientists Without Borders

Scientists without Borders is a new initiative created by the New York Academy of Sciences. The venture aims to mobilize and coordinate science-based activities that improve quality of life in the developing world.

This initiative addresses health and other problems in the developing world by bringing together scientists from disparate specialties, organizations, and locations.

The Scientists Without Borders database will provide a way for organizations, projects, and individuals with complementary needs and resources to find one another.
