Gender and training: mainstreaming gender equality and the planning, realisation, and evaluation of training programmes

This paper provides detailed information and evaluation of training programmes and practical incentives for mainstreaming gender equality in the planning, realisation and evaluating of training programmes.

The present paper is applicable to all consultants whose everyday professional responsibility it is to organise training programmes, seminars, workshops and courses. It is based on the concept of didactics that promotes gender equality, the five levels of which are described and explained in the second part of this paper. Part three contains practical tips and suggestions for dealing with this issue.
