Australian Development Gateway

The Australian Development Gateway (ADG) strives to support members of the development community in their efforts to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The site has been created with participation from members of government, private, academia and non-government organisations. User feedback mechanisms have been incorporated to guide future directions of the site. The site is optimised for low bandwidth access to enable the widest participation throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Participatory methods' toolkit: a practitioner's manual (pdf 1.3mb)

This publication is designed to create a hands-on toolkit for starting up and managing participatory projects.

The manual is meant for the inexperienced person who sets first steps into the challenging world of participation as well as  the experienced practitioner, who uses this manual for specific sections, such as tips and tricks, or to get acquainted with other methods.

This publication is meant to be a working tool. It is funded by the King Baudouin Foundation and the Flemish Institute for Science and Technology Assessment.
